Mistral Sreamer SL 2007

I recently bought a Mistral 2007 Screamer SL from you on special offer and I said I would let you know how it sails...

What can I say I think it is an absolutely fantastic board....

I have sailed it about 4 times now, mainly on the flat water at Calshot and have used it fully powered with a 6.0m Gaastra Remedy and with a 6.6m North x-type. The board seems fast, but in a completely untroubled way, from the moment you get on you are planing (I am 100 kg) and it seems like a very smooth ride. it is not clattery, but due to the weight of the hull you feel like you are on a race board.

Gybing is also great, just like a good free ride board, easy to come out planing and does not stall or catch... Not sure how this would perform in hard chop, but you can't expect too much from a 68cm wide board.

Had a race with one of my mates who was on a 07 fanatic falcon 105 and naish redline and he could not get close!
