Fanatic Team Twin Wave 93lt 2010

Hi Guys.

I met up with Nik Baker today in the 5.3 weather at Shoreham to test the 93lt Fanatic Team Twin. Super impressed! It certain didn't feel big (in terms of manoeuvrability, windage in the air etc...) but had a nice float to it. I had a 5.3m and would happily put both my 5.7m and 5.0m on it. It was quite onshore today, but the couple of bottoms turns I did were grippy and fast, it really did feel like I had more speed coming back up the wave than on my previous single fin boards, it certainly kicked some nice spray without a lot of effort off the top! There was a nasty rip today, but I didn't have an issues getting upwind (apart from a couple of swimming sessions on the inside when I got carried away - literally). The board felt light/crisp, planed early and the lack of pressure on the back foot from the fins felt so much nicer than from my single fin boards. I've been debating about getting a twin for a while and after today’s test I'm sold.. (Richard has now ordered a 93lt Fanatic Twin ). Thanks again Nik and maybe I'll get a *79 to keep it company. I really liked the feel and didn't sense any negatives.

Best regards and look forward to getting the board!

Rich
