So HOT I use GMV saying, Naish Hovers, Impacts Lost and applying for a job!

Friday evening is here again Folks.. so I guess that means we are Weekend’ing once more and this one could be the very 1st HOT one of the season, so get your van parked early Andy (Andy lives on the beach but always parks his van up on the foreshore, just in case it gets busy)!
So hot in fact that the shop lights have already ‘passed out’ , so I need to get out of here and collect ‘electrical parts’ before dear Screwfix close. Moving on then..

Has anyone found an impact jacket (Mystic pictured but only as a guide to what one looks like) which was left on the beach or in the car park at Widewater recently? It could be a couple of weeks ago as the owner cannot remember when he last used it.
Give us a call if you can help. 01273 465366 or you can message or use WhatsApp.

Anybody that has been considering Wind-foiling but finding the cost prohibitive may be interested in a choice of Naish Hover boards and Thrust foils. We know of a 122lt version and a 140lt version of the 2018 windsurf Hover boards and both being offered with the standard head Thrust Foil. Both are available for under a £1000 complete.. give us a call (message or WhatsApp..) if you are interested.

And now.. the weekend weather and tides!
Saturday is going to be * HOT.. hotter than a snakes ‘bottom’ in a wagon rut! Well, not that hot but we have not seen 26°C that much this year. Winds are light and from the Northern sector. Tide hits High at 07.18hrs on a 5.1m which means not a lot of water in the Estuary and not a lot of shallow water on the beach at low tide. Don’t forget that the lovely little stinging Weaver Fish are quite likely to be sun bathing in the shallows, so maybe warn your children or.. BUY BEACH SHOES! £7.50 up to size 5 and £9.00 after that.
Sunday we have a change with the wind which will also COOL the day.. as it goes around to the South and between 8-12kts. Odd I know, as South in the winter is warm and North is fer’reezin but during the summer wind off of the sea comes in at the approx. sea temperature (approx. 19°C) so the air temp on the coast can be lower than inland. Northerly winds heat up passing over the inland areas so it will usually be warmer than a Southerly. I hope that all makes sense.. top temps of 22°C for Sunday. High Tide is at 08.32hrs on a 5.2m.

And that is that.. I am out of here but for my sins I will be back in 9.30 – 5.30pm tomo and 10.00am to 4.00pm on Sunday (noticed there is a job up for grabs in Westminster.. the hours are less and you get to party a lot!)
Have a great Weekend!
