The weekend is Windy and Wet and the Quelch Family are Sailing!
Wind.. yep.. the forecast says it's a windy weekend which I know will be making a lot of You smile.. 
and a lot of other people grimace 
as we have a rather wet outlook for Saturday which will put paid to their plans for the first official weekend of the Summer Holidays. I guess we will never ALL be happy but sometimes we get close...
It's good when you hear of a Family that all enjoy the same sport but when the sport is windsurfing, well, I would guess that nowadays it is rarely heard of !
Simon Quelch and his family are almost there.. Simon and his two sons, Billy and Harry, are pretty much hooked and getting out on a board is now their 'mission', whilst his wife, Helen, has recently taken her first windsurfing steps, with the help of the Instructors at Neilson, during the familys two week stay in Vass. It's not just a holiday thing though as their 'home spot' is Pevensey Bay, so do look out for them if you sail there and I am sure they will be happy for any advice or just a bit of sailing company! Now for the weekends weather.. Bill Short has not as yet posted his Shortcast on our facebook page (hope he is OK and not damaged like Rune..) so it's back to taking a look at Windguru, BBC and the Met Office.. and then make your mind up who is right! To me it looks to be good both days but as always it's worth checking in the morning.
The Tides are High.. Saturday 11.06hrs on a 6.1m and Sunday it's 12.00hrs on a 6.4m.. Big Tides so you won't have a lot of water at the shallow shelving beaches much after 3.30pm. Shoreham will be good though!
