Crikey.. is it the Weekend already!!
At last it feels as though Spring might be in the air and next week's forecast is looking promising for a possible day or two of temps in the 15° C region.. which will be gladly received as I have had enough of living in a defrosting freezer.. WET and COLD!
Incredibly we may also get winds from the Sou-West and maybe swell as well!!.. is it Christmas?? Keep your fingers crossed and let's get on with our Lives again.

Couple of interesting websites were mentioned this week.. not kit related but one is of local interest and the second is a Global site that is relevant to our sports.

First up is a YouTube CGI of Shorehams Flood Defences. It shows exactly what they are doing and where.. worth a look if you live on the beach or surrounding area.

The second is a very interesting site ( I mentioned this one a while back but think it's worth mentioning again for those that might have missed it) for checking out real time World Weather which includes Wind, Sea Temps, Particulates and even Carbon Monoxide/Wind.

Talking of zooming in.. here's the weekend 'Half Term' weather for where we are ..
Winds from the South at 12kts on Saturday with allegedly an 18 second wave period during the morning.. tide is high at 15.47 on a 5.0m. Sunday sees the Winds swing to the West..12-17kts during the morning but then dropping back to 12kt in the afternoon. Tide is High at 16.50hrs on a mere 4.7m.
Not a sign of rain.. fingers are crossed!

And as a final note.. we have just had Xcel wetsuits price list in for Winter 2017. Their stitchless Drylock-X suit (current model in the shop at £399.00.. most sizes) now has a price tag of £485.00.. just so you know in case you are in the market for a new one!
