 Starboards Hyper Nut was a board that on paper sounded 'odd' to say the least. Anyone who said they were going to make a board with a wide stubby style nose which thinned into a narrow waist but then filled out again into a wide Quad fin tail with channels would deserve to hear a chuckle or two from their fellow board designers.  BUT.. when you see the board that they made you do get it !
Our first Wood board arrived yesterday and whilst checking it in for the infamous 'Transit Damage' before calling the customer ( a Mr Ed Horne!) to say his new Toy was here I did take the opportunity to grab a couple of pics. It is an impressive looking board and it has been a long time since I had that 'WOW' feeling when pulling the wrappers off of a new bit of kit!

My apologies for the poor quality of the pics (larger versions on the Gallery) but the light in this shop is poor at the best of times. Apologies also for no underside shots but this is a customers board and I wanted it safely back in its packing before something fell on it!  

The Wood versions have an RRP range of £1275.00 - £1299.00 ( which in my opinion is the best as it is  a beautiful looking board)  but there are also Carbon Pro Editions at £1975.00 - £1999.00 and the 8'6" version is also available in the Starshot construction at £859.00 and an AST Electric at £1175.00.
