Going West and no where to stay??



Anyone been heading to the far West but finding it more and more difficult to find camp sites that are happy to take normal vans? Well... I was chatting with an ex. Shoreham Beach sailor from the late eighties that now lives in Cornwall (Paul Bradley from Camborne..) and he mentioned that there is a really friendly site near Redruth called Global Vale (pretty central for all beaches if you don't need to be 'on the beach'). They are happy to take vans and there are no night time gate closures so you can come and go as you please. Booking can be done online or by phone but if at all possible please do mention that Paul Bradley put you in touch.. you won't get a discount but he may get bought a beer as he is good friends with the owner!
