A late call but tomorrow is the day for all of you who would like to take a look at the inside of Shoreham’s new Lifeboat Station and get to meet the crews in a more socialble way than one which is out of need! The infamous Tamar Lifeboat along with the fantastic little D Class Inshore RIBs will be on show and will be launched twice during the day for display purposes, and for a Man Overboard demonstration (subject to no duty calls).

The R.N.L.I station is at Kingston Beach, which is situated at the harbour entrance right next to the old lighthouse, which are both hard to miss when driving along the A259 between Shoreham and Portslade (Brighton).
The Open Day starts at 10am and closing up will be at 4pm, and as with the R.N.L.I’s service out at sea , there is no admission fee and all of the monies raised will go to Shoreham’s Lifeboat Station.
